We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant / TA to join an Ofsted rated Outstanding primary school in Upton Noble. This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued. The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. It offers bright, modern classrooms, excellent facilities and high-quality resources, all supported by a friendly, dedicated and collaborative team who are passionate about making a real difference every day.

The Role:

  • General Teaching Assistant / TA
  • Supporting pupils within class, on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
