We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to teach Year 5 at a welcoming and supportive primary school near Weston-super-Mare. This opportunity would suit an experienced Year 5 Teacher, KS2 Teacher or Primary Teacher looking for a flexible part-time teaching role for the remainder of the academic year. The school has a strong community ethos and provides a nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. Staff work collaboratively to deliver an engaging curriculum that supports pupils both academically and personally.
The Role
- Teach a Year 5 class within Key Stage 2
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Support pupils in developing strong reading, writing and numeracy skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to support different learning needs

The Ideal Candidate
