We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant / LSA to join an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Minehead. This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. The Role:

  • General Learning Support Assistant / LSA
  • Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting
  • Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
