We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted rated Outstanding primary school in Bath. This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.
The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a Bachelors Degree with a strong academic track record
- Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
