The Role

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Inspire students to develop entrepreneurial thinking, commercial awareness, and financial literacy.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress, providing meaningful feedback to drive achievement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for business, enterprise, and economics.
  • Have high expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practice.
