Overview

The Apprenticeship Directorate is looking for a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Automotive. This role will work with a cohort of Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices and their employers, conducting progress reviews, training and assessing on the competency elements of the apprenticeship, and serving as the main point of contact. The successful candidate should have drive and enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal, IT and organisational skills, and be mobile to travel across the northeast region as this role involves visiting employer premises and working across college sites.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and assess on the competency elements of the automotive apprenticeship for Level 2 and Level 3 cohorts.
  • Conduct progress reviews with apprentices and their employers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for learners and employer stakeholders.
  • Travel to employer premises and work across college sites within the northeast region.

Qualifications

  • Vocational and teaching qualifications are welcome, with a proven record of training and assessing automotive apprentices.
