We are looking for a proactive and forward‑thinking professional who is passionate about improving people systems, processes and data to support organisational success. As our People Systems & MI Adviser, you'll be a key member of the People & Organisational Development team, helping to drive continuous improvement and shape smarter, more efficient ways of working.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems, driving change and using data to make a real organisational impact. Working across the full People & Organisational Development function, the role offers exposure to a wide range of activity including People systems optimisation, process improvement, reporting and dashboard development, compliance reporting and organisational change initiatives. The successful candidate will influence how people systems and workflows operate across EPNE, helping to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and support the effective operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of people systems, including Midland HR, e‑recruitment and learning management systems.
- Produce, analyse and distribute regular and ad hoc management information, reports and dashboards to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate people processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues, IT teams and third‑party providers to troubleshoot system issues, support integrations and implement system enhancements or upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy, integrity and compliance of people data, including supporting audits, statutory reporting and information requests.
- Provide guidance, training and support to colleagues on the effective use of people systems, processes and reporting tools.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of working with HR/People systems (ideally Midland HR), databases or HRIS platforms.
- Experience producing and analysing management information, reports and dashboards.
- Proven experience in systems management, process improvement, and MI reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and insights.
- Experience of improving processes, systems or ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Good understanding of data accuracy, GDPR and handling confidential information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
