We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality systems and services that enhance the student experience. The successful candidate will lead transformational change by modernising timetabling and student data processes through the use of digital technologies and improved systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership of curriculum planning, course file production, timetabling and register functions.
- Lead specialist data teams to ensure curriculum and operational data are accurate, strategically aligned, financially sustainable and optimised through digital systems and AI-informed processes.
- Oversee curriculum planning and course file management, timetabling and electronic registers, and teaching staff utilisation and resource modelling.
- Ensure data accuracy, efficient processes and strong collaboration across teams to support curriculum delivery, funding and student success.
- Lead and manage teams to deliver high-quality services, performance improvement and organisational priorities.
- Implement or improve systems and processes, including digital platforms related to timetabling, attendance or data management.
- Oversee student records, enrolment of MIS functions within an FE or skills environment.
- Require an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Level 4 Management qualification (or willingness to work towards within 2 years).
- GCSE Maths and English Grade A*-C (or equivalent).
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality services, performance improvement and organisational priorities.
- Significant experience of managing student records, enrolment of MIS functions within an FE or skills environment.
- High-level digital literacy, including data quality management, system integration and process digitisation in relation to MIS systems.
- Experience implementing or improving systems and processes, including digital platforms related to timetabling, attendance or data management.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of FE funding methodologies, ILR requirements and audit processes.
- Working knowledge of AI and automation concepts (e.g. predictive analytics, scenario modelling, workflow automation) and their application to education planning, attendance and resource optimisation.
- Experience using systems such as ProSolution, ProAchieve, ProMonitor, 4Cast or similar management information systems.
