Role Responsibilities

  • Manage service desk requests, low level maintenance tasks and Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules ensuring required work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and support Estates Technicians in the completion of day to day activities, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with departmental procedures.
  • Work with line manager to ensure applicable Facilities Management services are maintained in accordance with legislation.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing resources are available via staff rotas to meet business needs.
  • Work with line manager to drive improvements in energy efficiency, recording metrics to identify high usage.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Maths and English or willingness to work towards.
  • Health & Safety Qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • A valid UK driving licence.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previously employed within an Estates / facilities Management role.
  • Use of IT based systems.
  • Compliance to Health & Safety legislation and guidelines.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading a team.
  • Basic trouble shooting of HVAC plant.

About the Candidate

Do you have the skills and drive to lead a small Estates team looking after our Hartlepool campus? You will supervise the onsite team, part of the larger EPNE Estates team, to continue to drive improvements to our facilities and service and provide the best possible experience for our learners. Ability to lead from the front, problem solve and coordinate the team to ensure the day to day operation of the site meets the high standards of EPNE.
