Their ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines ensures that complex scheduling and data processes run efficiently and can be continuously improved. By analysing patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing structured solutions, they can drive meaningful improvements in systems and workflows, ultimately supporting better decision‑making and a more streamlined operational environment.

About the Role

To ensure the effective planning, delivery and integrity of timetabling and attendance data across FE and HE provision, supporting high‑quality teaching, student engagement, funding compliance and audit readiness.

Role Responsibilities

  • To manage timetabling, electronic registers and attendance data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across all provision.
  • The role oversees timetable production, register processes and data quality, while managing staff and working closely with curriculum and MIS teams to deliver an efficient, responsive and audit‑ready service.

Due to the nature of this post, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 3 in Business/Administration/Data or relevant experience
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade A*–C (or equivalent)
  • Practical experience of timetabling, registers, student records or MIS processes within an FE or similar environment.
  • Experience of supervising or managing staff to deliver accurate, timely and customer‑focused administrative or data services.
  • Working knowledge of data quality requirements and their link to funding, audit and performance monitoring.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of FE funding methodologies, compliance and audit knowledge and processes.
  • Experience using systems such as ProSolution, ProAchieve, ProMonitor, 4Cast or similar management information systems.
