About the Role

The role of Host at Northumberland College Zoo is a vital position engaging with our customers day to day. You are the first people guests interact with and ensure they have a fantastic family day out. You will be approachable and engaging while having an eye for detail to make sure each and every experience is outstanding.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service at admissions and food kiosks.
  • Ensure the zoo looks its best by keeping it tidy and clean.
  • Manage and deliver school group visits.
  • Engage guests through various activities including talks, experiences, and group bookings.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in a retail or tourist attraction setting.
  • Experience working with various groups of people including young and SEN learners.
  • Delivering and planning educational sessions.
