We are announcing a range of teaching opportunities across a group of colleges, looking for passionate and skilled individuals to join our teams. We are recruiting for a variety of roles in the Engineering Trades department, specifically in the following areas:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Welding
  • Automotive

We encourage applications from both experienced teachers and those new to teaching. We offer training to help you gain teaching qualifications. Positions may include casual, part-time, temporary, full-time, or sessional roles.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Trade Lecturers: Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding or Automotive; help students build hands-on skills and technical knowledge.
  • Programme Leads: Oversee the delivery of engineering programmes, manage a team of educators, and align the curriculum with industry standards.
  • Curriculum Managers: Develop and manage high-quality curriculum content to provide a comprehensive, practical education in the chosen trade.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Expertise in one or more of the following trades: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding or Automotive.
  • Previous experience in the relevant trade industry is essential.
  • No formal teaching qualifications required at this stage; training is provided to help you achieve teaching qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
