About The Candidate
Weâre looking for a passionate Intern to join our brilliant Student Recruitment and Engagement Team. If youâre someone who loves talking to people and isnât afraid to jump right into the action, confident presenting to a crowd, chatting oneâtoâone, or leading a workshop, this role will allow you to shine. Youâll build strong relationships with our curriculum teams, schools, community groups, colleagues, and partners playing a pro-active role in driving our student recruitment across the year.

Youâll help plan and deliver standout student recruitment events and engagements that make a real impact, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to everything you do. About The Role
Youâll be part of a small, energetic team delivering exciting student recruitment events and engagements that inspire students to choose our colleges within the EPNE group. From school visits to community outreach, youâll help showcase our offer to learners of all ages.
Youâll build strong relationships with our curriculum teams, with schools, partners, and organisations while representing the college through presentations and creative engagement activities. Itâs a handsâon role where your ideas help shape someoneâs next step.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan & Deliver Recruitment Events: Organise impactful internal and external events (e.g. open days, campus visits, school outreach) aligned with strategic priorities and subject areas.
- Promote College Offerings: Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to showcase college pathways, filling gaps in local education and training.
- Develop External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with schools, community groups, and other partners, acting as a key contact for outreach efforts.
- Event Promotion: Collaborate with Marketing to promote events via digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
- Track & Evaluate Impact: Use data and the CRM system to monitor event performance, measure engagement, and inform continuous improvement.
- Co-ordinate with Colleagues: Work with a variety of stakeholders across the entire group including curriculum, student services, estates and other teams as required.
Qualifications
- Evidence you are studying a degree and are in an appropriate year for a placement / or evidence of completing a degree and looking for a post-graduate internship.

- Experience of public speaking such as delivering presentations or workshops.
- Experience of working in an events related or marketing role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
