About the Opportunity
We are looking to connect with professionals who have expertise in the housing sector and an interest in contributing to the design and delivery of Level 4 and Level 5 Chartered Institute of Housing qualifications. As the Competence & Conduct Standard comes into effect in October 2026, this role will play a key part in shaping the future of housing education and supporting the professionalisation of the sector.

- Delivering high-quality, innovative teaching and learning
- Shaping the Housing Curriculum and collaborating with industry partners
- Developing assessments, resources, and quality assurance processes
- Using cutting-edge tools such as immersive classrooms through our Housing Innovation Construction Skills Academy
We are committed to supporting professional growth. If you join us, you will have access to a comprehensive induction and support in working towards a Level 3 Assessor Award and Level 5 Teaching Diploma where required.
Taking Teaching Further & Additional Incentives
If you are making the move into further education teaching, you may be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme, a funded route to help industry professionals retrain as FE teachers. In addition, for roles in high-need subjects or regions you may also benefit from the government’s targeted retention incentive payments, worth up to £6,000 for eligible teachers in their first five years and teaching certain shortage subjects.
Please note eligibility for both TTF and the Targeted Retention Incentive varies by role, subject area and provider; they do not apply to every vacancy.
Who We’re Interested In Meeting:
- A recognised Level 4+ Housing or Housing-related qualification
- Experience working at manager level or above in a housing organisation
- Professional membership of a recognised housing body
- Commitment to completing relevant qualifications
