About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN setting on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative lessons
- Support children with additional needs in accordance with individual learning plans and EHCPs
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working within EYFS and/or with SEN pupils
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Warm, caring, and patient approach
