Maths Teacher required for Long Term Cover in a Secondary Academy in Durham. Our client is an excellent mixed comprehensive located in Durham. The school are looking to appoint an exciting and innovative Maths Teacher for supply to start in May 25. The booking is expected to extend for the full academic year.
You will become part of a strong team within the department. The school seek a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher with good subject knowledge and a creative approach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, energetic and supportive Maths department where the students are motivated to learn.
The HOD and Deputy Head Teacher encourage both experienced and newly qualified teachers to apply. Qualified Teacher Status is ESSENTIAL for employment. Applicants without QTS will not be considered.
The successful Maths Teacher will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to teach DT to GCSE level, able to self motivate as well as drive students to achieve above minimum targets. You will need to make lessons challenging and enjoyable, maximising students' potential for learning.
Having high expectations of you, your colleagues and pupils is a necessity to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the school. You will need to share the aims and goals of the SLT and be keen to be a large part of learners' success.
