The Education Network is currently recruiting a committed and compassionate SEN Specialist to work within a SEND school in Bradford. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex and diverse special educational needs in a specialist setting.
The Role
- Providing targeted, personalised support to pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties
- Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, including during interventions and therapeutic activities
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary professionals to support individual education plans
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
- Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in a SEND school or specialist provision
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive practice
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Relevant SEN qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
