Provide specialist support to pupils with Autism, ADHD and EBD.
The Role:
Provide specialist support for pupils with Autism, ADHD, and emotional and behavioural difficulties through a mix of 1:1 work, small-group intervention, and structured classroom support. You will help pupils follow routines, regulate behaviour, access learning, build confidence, and engage more positively with school throughout the day.
The Candidate:
- You are calm, observant, and able to build trust through consistency and clear communication.
- You want practical school-based experience, you can stay patient in a busy setting, and you are interested in how targeted support helps pupils with additional needs feel secure and make progress.
Requirements:
- Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Career Goals – A desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
