We’re looking for a Teacher/Tutor to work within small groups of students who are receiving education outside of a traditional school environment, the students are studying up to GCSE level.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tailoring learning to individual needs and making a real difference to young people who need additional support with Maths.
The role:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition or small class sessions in Maths
- Support students who may be out of school for a range of reasons (for example, SEMH, anxiety, medical needs)
- Create a safe and encouraging learning environment
- Plan sessions based on each learner’s needs and ability
What we’re looking for:
- QTS, HLTA status, or strong tutoring experience
- Confident teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4
- A calm, flexible and supportive approach
- Someone who can build positive relationships with learners
- Reliable, organised, and a strong communicator
