The Education Network are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Leeds. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require tailored support to thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and SEMH Support pupils who have EHCPs and personalised learning plans Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing life skills Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with complex needs (school-based or other settings) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND, Team Teach) are desirable but not essential Apply now by submitting your CV to the job advertisement or call the office on (phone number removed) The Education Network Offer: Our specialist team have a combined experience of over 25 years and have unrivalled reputation within the education market, taking great pride in the extremely high service levels that we provide to both our schools and our candidates.
