The Role

Support children across EYFS through a mix of classroom assistance, play-based learning, and early development support.

You will help pupils settle into routines, build communication, literacy, and early number skills, and work closely with the class teacher to keep children engaged throughout the day.

The Candidate

You are patient, energetic, and able to communicate clearly with young children.

You want practical classroom experience, enjoy helping pupils build confidence from the earliest stage, and are keen to develop the understanding needed for a future in teaching.

Requirements

  • Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
  • Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
  • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
