We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Work Experience & Industrial Placement Coordinator to join our college team. You will work closely with curriculum teams and local, regional, and national employers to create meaningful work experience and industrial placement opportunities that support our strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students' futures while contributing to the college's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor work experience and industrial placement programs, ensuring all administrative processes, risk assessments, and reporting requirements are completed accurately.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and external partners to secure high-quality placement opportunities and promote the college's offer.
  • Support students throughout their placements, including matching them to appropriate opportunities, tracking progress, and completing outcome reports to meet T Level and awarding body requirements.

Person Specification:

  • Successful experience of delivering work experience opportunities for young people.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current government policy regarding T Levels and Industry Placements.
  • Proven experience in engaging and building relationships with employers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good IT skills with a willingness to enhance them further.
  • Commitment to Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding, with practical ideas for implementing these in the role.
