Are you a passionate SEN Teacher with QTS looking for a rewarding opportunity within a specialist school environment?
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist school, supporting pupils with additional needs through a personalised and nurturing approach to education.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons based on individual pupil needs.
- Support pupils with SEN and complex learning needs.
- Create a safe, structured and positive classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support different learning styles and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils and encourage their confidence and independence.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate
- QTS is essential.
- Previous experience working within SEN settings is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with autism or complex needs would be advantageous.
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Confident differentiating lessons and responding to individual needs.
- Passionate about making a positive difference to children's lives.
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
