We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with their learning and development and making a positive difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities.
- Provide additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Help promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence and social skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEND is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Willingness to complete relevant safeguarding and background checks.
