We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Twickenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils within a SEN primary setting, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils in KS1 or KS2
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs through personalised teaching approaches
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and support staff
  • Implement strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to support development
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience teaching in a Primary school setting (KS1 or KS2)
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN / SEND
  • A patient, calm, and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification (preferred)
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
