Education Matters is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Richmond from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a friendly and inclusive learning environment while gaining valuable classroom experience.
The Role as a Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times.
The Ideal Candidate To be considered, you will have
- Previous experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
