We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to the Group Director of Human Resources at Our Colleges. This is a group-wide role, meaning the successful candidate will be required to travel between different New City College sites. You must therefore have your own car or be confident using public transport to commute between college locations.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA, EA or Senior Administrator who is confident supporting senior leadership and managing a busy and varied workload. You will provide high-quality, confidential and proactive administrative support to the Group HR Director, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex diary, including meetings, appointments and events across multiple college sites.
  • Coordinate meetings, venues, documentation and logistics.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, briefing papers and correspondence.
  • Take accurate meeting minutes and monitor agreed actions.
  • Ensure the HR Director is fully prepared and briefed for meetings.
  • Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate HR leadership meetings, events, workshops and training.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and databases.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor project deadlines and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Support the wider HR team with administrative duties as required.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator supporting a senior manager or director.
  • Excellent diary management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience arranging meetings and taking accurate minutes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

Important Travel Requirement

This is a group-wide position and requires travel between college sites. You must be able to commute between different college locations by car or public transport. Please do not apply if you are unable to travel between college sites.
