We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum that inspires students to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in raising attainment, supporting students' academic and personal development, and contributing positively to the wider life of the academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting student progress and achievement.
- Act as a form tutor, monitoring student wellbeing, progress, and development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance, and departmental improvement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning and engagement.
What We Are Looking For:
- QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Experience of teaching PE at secondary level, with strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and assessment practices.
- Ability to motivate students, promote equality of access, and create a safe, positive learning environment.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
