The Role:
- Teach Maths to students aged with SEMH needs
- Adapt lessons to support varying abilities and learning styles
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students who require extra care and guidance
- Work as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team including support staff, therapists, and SEN professionals
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Essential
- PGCE with Maths specialism or relevant experience teaching Maths
- Experience or strong interest in working with SEMH students
- Calm, empathetic and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong behaviour management and emotional literacy
