We are currently supporting a welcoming all-girls secondary school in East London in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
The Role
- Support students in lessons on a one-to-one, small group, and whole-class basis.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
- Provide pastoral support and promote student wellbeing.
- Support pupils with additional needs to access learning effectively.
- Assist with intimate care where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting young people in an educational setting.
- Confident carrying out general TA duties.
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience providing intimate care would be highly desirable.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
