We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Bethnal Green area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting, assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured learning activities tailored to young learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the EYFS class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
- Supporting children’s learning through play-based activities
- Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times
- Must have a Level 3 EYFS certificate (Please do not apply if you have your Level 3 EYFS)
- Experience working within an EYFS or Primary setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
