We have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join a primary school in Leatherhead on a long-term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for a creative and confident educator who can deliver high-quality teaching, encourage independence and create a classroom where every pupil feels supported and motivated to succeed. The Role Deliver imaginative and well-structured lessons to Year 1 or Year 2 pupils. Develop children's confidence in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment. Monitor pupil attainment and provide targeted support where necessary. Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independent learning. Build strong working relationships with parents, colleagues and support staff. Requirements Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum. Be confident using assessment to inform teaching and learning. Have strong organisational skills and a proactive teaching approach.
