Education Matters is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bethnal Green from September 2026.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupils' progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster children's confidence, independence, and love of learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom management.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1 (ECT placements are welcomed).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
- A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
