Citizenship Teacher to join their team from

September for the full academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students to become informed, responsible, and engaged members of society.

The Role

  • Teach Citizenship across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, debate, and active participation.
  • Teach a second subject, ideally Geography or History, where required.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and support student progress and achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Promote safeguarding and support the wellbeing of all students.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Citizenship within a secondary setting.
  • Can teach Geography or History as a second subject.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Is passionate about empowering young people through education.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all learners.
