Education Matters Group is recruiting on behalf of a successful and oversubscribed secondary school in South East London seeking to appoint an outstanding Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming, high-performing school with excellent facilities, a supportive leadership team and a strong commitment to staff development. The successful candidate will teach Health & Social Care at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4.
- KS5 teaching experience is desirable.
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom practice.
- Passionate about helping students succeed.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
