We are working with a well-regarded school in Plumstead, South East London, who are seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised PA to provide dedicated support to the Headteacher. This is a key role within the school, and previous experience working in a school setting is essential.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-level PA and administrative support to the Headteacher
- Managing the Headteacher's diary, meetings and correspondence
- Acting as a first point of contact for staff, governors, parents and external agencies
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Supporting governance administration and senior leadership functions
- Assisting with inspections, meetings and key school events
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school environment (essential)
- Experience as a PA, EA or senior administrator
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working closely with senior leaders
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SIMS/Arbor desirable)
