Are you an outstanding Music Teacher with a passion for inspiring young musicians? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Greenwich for a full‑time Music Teacher to join their thriving department on a maternity cover basis, starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious school that values high‑quality music education and creative excellence.
The Role
- Greenwich, South East London
- Full‑Time
- £180–£250 per day (PAYE)
- September Start
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Excellent subject knowledge across the Music curriculum
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver engaging, challenging lessons
- The ability to sing confidently and play at least one additional instrument to a high enough standard to teach students
- A secure understanding of music theory
- Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for developing students' musical talent and confidence
