A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant to support its vibrant Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting ahead of pursuing a PGCE or teacher training program.
Role Overview
- Support teaching across Humanities subjects (History and Geography)
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need additional help
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and resource creation
- Help foster a love of learning and critical thinking in young minds
- Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment
Candidate Requirements
- Humanities-related degree
- Passion for education and subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
