We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher with a specialism in Geography to join our academy. You will deliver high-quality Geography teaching within a supportive Humanities department, helping students develop strong subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a curiosity about the world. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum.
- Monitor, assess, and support student progress, acting as a form tutor and contributing to students' academic and personal development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental improvement within the Humanities team.
- Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching, intervention, and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant undergraduate degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level; ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
- Evidence of effective classroom practice and the ability to motivate and engage learners.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage workload effectively.
