Calling all passionate media creators! We are seeking a talented Creative Industries Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of media professionals. As a Creative Media Lecturer, you'll have the chance to shape the learning journey of our 14-19 and adult learners, guiding them through a range of courses from entry level to level 3.
Key Highlights:
- Develop, teach, and coordinate designated vocational Media Content Creator programmes
- Collaborate with partnership organizations and employers to deliver and ensure the quality of your programmes
- Contribute to the growth and success of our thriving Creative Media department
- Full time role (9am-5pm)
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in contemporary media concepts, including genre, narrative, and the film, TV, and digital industries
- Proficiency in practical production stages, from pre-production to post-production, including digital image and character generation, camera, audio, lighting, editing, VFX, and grading
- Excellent MS Office suite skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, VFX, and 3D programmes
- Understanding of the media industries and experience in a production-based role
- Proven track record of delivering a range of practical production programmes
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in media content creation or a related discipline
- A teaching qualification
- Experience of quality assurance relating to BTEC/ UAL-type programmes
