Position: Science Cover Supervisor Location: Greenwich Daily Rate: £120-£135 Required: ASAP About the school: This is a welcoming 11-19 mixed comprehensive school. They believe in traditional values and high expectations. They promote a structured learning environment with an emphasis on the importance of homework. This school expect high standards of behaviour, excellent attendance and positive attitudes. They believe in equality, diversity and inclusion. About the role: To supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. To give instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher. The primary focus of the role is to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task. To respond to general questions and provide general feedback to teachers. There is no requirement to undertake \’specified work\’. Cover Supervisors are not subject to a \’system of supervision\’ other than the general supervision applicable to all staff and act under the professional direction of teachers. To carry out administrative tasks as detailed below. To undertake supervision of afterschool Homework clubs. Update sixth form display boards.
