Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Plan and support age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS.
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Observe and record children’s progress.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Promote learning through play.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene.
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Work effectively as part of the nursery team.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Previous nursery or Early Years experience.
- Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
- Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references required.
