We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Chorley.
You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play and engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and support engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with the EYFS.
- Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Encourage learning through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Work effectively as part of the nursery team.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification - essential.
- Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
