We are currently supporting a well-established Further Education setting in the East London / Essex border area in appointing an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Law Lecturer to join their academic team on a 0.8 FTE basis (approximately 4 days per week) for a 1-year fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Law specialist who can deliver engaging teaching, inspire learners, and support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality A Level Law lessons
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
  • Monitor learner progress and provide targeted academic support
  • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Support students to achieve strong academic outcomes and progression goals
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum teams and wider college staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant degree within Law or a related subject area
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent desirable)
  • Experience teaching Law at A Level / KS5 / Further Education level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for education and learner development
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
