Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. In November 2023 we were graded Outstanding in every single aspect of an Ofsted Inspection.

Our adopted college motto is ‘Believing is achieving’, which resonates through everything we do at the Hive and it’s at the heart of what we want our students to aspire to. We constantly strive for excellence, seeking innovative and collaborative ways of delivering the curriculum. As part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Teacher vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people.

We offer three individualised study programmes for students with SLD, MLD and ASD. Our study programmes focus on preparation for adulthood, which include:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge and understanding of students with SLD and ASC.
  • The ability to support the raising of standards for those students through curriculum development.
  • Accountability for student progress and development.
  • Work well as part of a dedicated team.
