Education for Industry Group is looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a temporary basis during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance environment, supporting the day-to-day operation of the finance function.
You will assist with:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal processing
- General finance administration
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider Finance team, you will help maintain accurate financial records and support key finance activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with financial or accounting systems
- Experience of Sage Intacct (advantageous)
Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative support role
- Experience of processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
Expertise:
- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and computerised accounting systems
Skills:
- Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload
