We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day upkeep of our premises at London College of Beauty Therapy.
In this hands-on role, you will carry out a range of general maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe, clean, and fully operational. This is a varied position suited to someone with a practical mindset, good attention to detail, and a flexible approach to supporting different areas of building maintenance as required.
Previous relevant experience in a maintenance or facilities role is essential. A CSCS card and manual handling training are advantageous.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a general maintenance, caretaking, or similar practical role is essential.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a maintenance or facilities environment.
- Awareness of safe manual handling and general site maintenance practices.
- Practical, hands-on ability with strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and carry out manual tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible, with a can-do attitude and willingness to support a wide range of tasks.
