We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team on a temporary basis during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance environment, supporting the day-to-day operation of the finance function.
You will assist with:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal processing
- General finance administration
Ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider Finance team, you will help maintain accurate financial records and support key finance activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with financial or accounting systems
- Experience of Sage Intacct would be advantageous
Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative support role, with experience of processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
Expertise:
- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and computerised accounting systems
Skills:
- Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage a varied workload
