About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and supportive professional to join our team as a Group Lead – Lecturer in Visual Communications & Styling to lead and teach on our Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling course. As a Group Lead – Lecturer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, assessment, and feedback, ensuring students are both academically challenged and fully prepared for the fashion industry. Your work will support student progression, drive engagement, and help learners build the confidence and skills needed to succeed. As a subject specialist, you will contribute to module delivery, model excellent teaching practice, and play an active role in a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
We are looking for a multi-disciplinary professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for education. The ideal candidate will be a confident and engaging communicator with excellent presentation skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others. About you:
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional experience. Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one upon appointment is ideal but not essential.
- Experience: You’ll bring extensive industry experience in your subject area. While previous teaching experience is desirable, it’s not essential and we welcome professionals looking to transition into education and share their expertise.
- Expertise: Outstanding current knowledge of subject specialism and the fashion industry and landscape.
- Skills: You will have the ability to deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning activities and assessments. You will also demonstrate excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Values: A strong commitment to supporting all learners to achieve their full potential and to contributing positively to an inclusive, student-centred learning community.

- Part-Time - From £17,010 to £18,900 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
