We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming early years setting based in Hackney. As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the learning, development, and care of children aged 0-5 within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in helping children develop their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills through structured play, early learning activities, and positive interaction.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
  • Assisting with personal care routines
  • Encouraging early communication and language development
  • Ensuring all children are engaged and supported in line with EYFS standards

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • Minimum 1 year of nursery or early years experience (essential)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to support personal care routines where required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for early years education and child development
